Meet Katelynn

My name is Katelynn and I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Holistic Nutritional Consultant from Calgary, AB. My love for fitness started in 2011 when I became a personal trainer while attending the University of Calgary where I obtained a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree. Continuing my education in the health and fitness industry, I graduated in 2017 from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition where I became a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant!

In 2018, I decided to start my own business, KM Fitness. I was nominated for Ms Health & Fitness by Muscle & Fitness Hers Magazine where I placed 12th in the international group. I also competed in my first fitness competition with the NPAA where I placed 2nd in the novice bikini category. I have established myself as a leading fitness trainer within Calgary and was recently named one of Canada’s Top Fitness Instructors by IMPACT Magazine in 2019. I was also named Top 5 Personal Trainers of the year by Calgary’s Top Fitness Awards in 2019 as well as a top nominee for IMPACT Magazines Top Trainers of 2020.

Where do you find motivation?

My main motivation comes from seeing how far I have come in my fitness journey and career. I used to be solely focused on what the numbers said on the scale, but I began focusing on how my body feels physically & mentally and how my confidence has grown throughout the years. I have many amazing individuals that have inspired me over the course of my fitness journey/career. As a trainer, I also find my motivation from seeing the amazing impact that fitness has on my clients and how they push forward with heart to reach their goals.
