Healthy Creatine Slushy
Creatine has been recognized by the scientific community, as well as the health and fitness industry as a product that delivers improved muscle size as well as strength. Creatine is not only used for body builders, but for the elderly to help with muscle deterioration, as well as people suffering from neurological problems. Creatine is a fuel source for ATP, which is an energy system used by the body for short bursts of power and strength.

Here is one of my favourite recipes using creatine. Paired with other healthy ingredients like glutamine (great for gut health, immune function, and muscle building), and electrolytes (to keep you hydrated) it’s a great way to stay cool on a hot summer’s day.
Healthy Creatine Slushy
Ingredients:
- Flavoured Creatine
- Glutamine
- Electrolytes
- Handful of ice
- Splash of water (just enough to get it going).
Directions:
Mix 1 scoop of creatine, 1 scoop of glutamine, 1 scoop of electrolytes. Add ice and water. Blend until you get a slushy texture. Enjoy!
