Meet Eric

Hey I’m Eric! I am a 22-year-old business student who happens to have a burning passion for bodybuilding and the entire fitness industry. I have been training since I was 16 and over the last 3 years have focused on starting my bodybuilding journey. I am also an online coach for both competing and lifestyle clients and co-own a gym clothing brand called Forth Athlete!

In 2022, I placed first in classic physique junior and second in class B at the Alberta Summer Naturals! This year I am going for an overall win at the Natural Saskatchewan Classic in May, and plan to start my road to becoming an IFBB pro after!

Favorite way to sweat

Stair climber with a hoodie on instantly gets me sweating and really tests how bad you want it!

Place to visit or travel

I have lots of great memories with friends and family in Mexico, but I love a good road trip to BC every summer. That being said any place with the friends is a good time. I’ll explore anywhere!

Extra Motivation

Motivation comes within love for the sport for me. I love bodybuilding and want to do it for the rest of my life. Working hard in the gym has become fun for me especially when I have some great tunes playing (I love music). To add to this, nobody can be motivated 365 days a year as we are all human and I think my love for the sport helped me develop disciple for when motivation isn’t there. The discipline helps me get through those tough injuries that really have you questioning is it worth it. My goal is to be an IFBB pro, and I won’t stop till I make it there!

Breakfast

My most simple and macronutrient friendly one is

  • 200g egg whites
  • 2 large whole eggs
  • 60g oats with a little bit of natural peanut butter

My FAVOURITE is Kodiak Cakes brand protein pancakes with lots of Walden Farms syrup

Lunch

  • 140g ground chicken
  • 200g jasmine rice
  • 60g asparagus
  • Lots of franks hot sauce

Dinner

  • 160g lean ground beef
  • 180g potatoes
  • 60g green beans
  • 20ml G Hughes hickory BBQ sauce

Snack

Cutting season, it’s rice cakes with some pb fit and pink salt
Bulking season, it’s Greek yogurt loaded with granola and lots of peanut butter

Healthy Dessert

I am a huge Halo Top ice cream fan. Cookie dough and mint chip especially. 350-400 calories in a pint? Can’t get much better than that! Could also add some cool whip on top too if you are feeling extra special that day.
