As a certified sports nutritionist, personal trainer, and founder of Skinny Roti, I’ve helped hundreds of people transform their bodies through my 28 Day Challenges. I teach and preach not to diet but to eat more food in the correct portions and specific times, rebuilding and repairing your metabolisms. Weight loss happens as a result.

My approach with clients is to help create a lifestyle that includes proper nutrition, training, and supplements that get results.

FAVORITE SUPPLEMENTS

Protein powder. As a mom and entrepreneur, protein shakes are a must for me, and I need my protein on the go a lot. Probiotics are also very important in keeping my gut healthy as I believe that all disease stems from an unbalanced gut.

Raw Cookie Dough Balls

16 ounces chickpeas rinsed and cooked
3 tbsp honey raw, organic
1 tbsp coconut sugar
1/8 tsp baking soda
4 tbsp almond butter raw, organic
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
1 1/2 cups vegan chocolate chips mini’s work best

Combine chickpeas, honey, sugar, sugar, baking soda, almond butter, vanilla, and a pinch of salt in a food processor and process until smooth.
Remove to a bowl and stir in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips. Form into 1 inch balls and place on a parchment-paper-lined baking sheet. Freeze until solid.
In a pot melt the remaining cup of chocolate chips. Dip the balls into the chocolate until covered and then place them back onto the lined baking sheet. Freeze until chocolate has hardened. Store at room temperature.

Breakfast

1 cup oatmeal, 1 cup egg whites, 1 tsp peanut butter, ½ cup frozen berries.

Snack

Protein shakes or smoothies. Chicken breast with fish or rice. I usually eat almonds for my fats throughout the day.

Lunch

Ground chicken over salad. I change the salads to keep it interesting – taco salad, greek salad, Caesar salad,  and bean salad are some of my favourites.

Dinner

Salmon or ground beef or bison with steamed veggies, rice or potatoes
