Meet Will

My name is Will and I was raised in a small town called La Ronge in northern Saskatchewan and I currently live in Lethbridge, Alberta. I started lifting weights and learning about nutrition & a healthy lifestyle when I was 21 years old. The risk of diabetes, high blood and stroke all run in my family and I knew I had to make some positive changes and improve my health.

As time passed, I gained more knowledge in the fitness & nutrition field and it truly became a passion of mine. I wanted to push myself further and began my first bodybuilding contest prep which was a huge challenge both physically and emotionally. I competed in my first competition in the men’s physique category where I took the gold medal and I am competing in my second show in Calgary this year!

I also competed in Judo for a number of years and my proudest moment was during the Provincials in Saskatchewan. Through hard work, determination and the power of positive thinking, I made a name for myself by defeating a very experienced international competing black belt by IPPON (full points) within 4 seconds of the match.

I’ve always had an interest in the field of community policing and corrections. I have a Diploma in Corrections and am exploring career possibilities where I can make a positive impact in my new community of Lethbridge. I’m a believer in people and believe that anyone has the ability to change for the better of themselves!

My girlfriend and I love to travel to Banff, AB, to hike and take in the scenery.

Extra Motivation

Social media is huge. Seeing other people’s transformations and how far they’ve come (specifically skinny guys to muscle). It gives me hope and inspires me to push harder!
