Weightlifting is my absolute favourite of course, but hiking is my other love.
Pretty much anything from Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, or G-Eazy. I’m always down for some ACDC as well!
I haven’t traveled as much as I’d like to, but out of the places I have been, Jamaica was my favourite. We do have Hawaii planned for this fall, and hopefully Japan sometime soon, as well!
Is it cliche to say myself? I’ve been through some gnarly health issues (my early 20’s were spent in and out of hospitals and doctor’s offices!), and whenever I’m feeling unmotivated I just think about how far I’ve come and if I can go through all that, I can get through whatever I’m going through. I also find amazing motivation at my gym (shout out to West Coast Iron) – the vibe is unreal and the people there offer unparalleled support to each other when we’re struggling.
Scrambled egg + egg whites with some low-fat shredded cheese on top, oatmeal (or sometimes pancakes because who doesn’t love pancakes), and some fruit (usually a kiwi or an apple).
Turkey meatballs, brown basmati rice, and some veggies sautéed in a pan with a little hot sauce!
Ground beef, onions, and bell peppers all fried up with some cajun seasoning and salsa, smashed mini potatoes with seasoning salt, and a little more low-fat shredded cheese (because cheese is life).
Apples with PB will always be a staple.
