Meet Matthew

My name is Matthew and I am a 24 year old Competitive Bodybuilder with a HUGE passion for health and fitness! I was always really active at a young age, always playing sports, then eventually I got into football which was my first passion. I played Defensive End and Linebacker for most of my 8 year career. When football ended, I looked for something else to fill the void which led me to hitting the weights at age 15!

In 2016 (six years later), I started competing and that’s when I decided I was going to prep for my first physique competition. Along with this I decided to not hire a coach and try to do the prep alone without even watching a competition or knowing how to really get there. But that was a blessing because that’s when I fell in love with health and fitness. I had to do research to learn how to properly train, diet and pose to prepare for the competition. That first show lit a fire for my passion in bodybuilding! 4 competitions later, I now plan on becoming an IFBB PRO in the Classic Physique Division in my near future!

My passion for sports has changed and so has my career. I now teach people the ways of Boykowich Bodybuilding, Exercise, Nutrition and living to be the best versions of themselves as a Certified Personal Trainer and Coach!

I love visiting Vancouver as much as I can, I like visiting all the gourmet doughnut shops or unique places to grab a bite!

Extra Motivation

I honestly find my motivation from within myself. I have always believed that if I don’t get off my butt and work hard that my goals will never be achievable. I hold myself to a very high standard and that drives me and fills me with passion.

Breakfast

Protein Yogurt:

  • 3/4 Cup 0% Lactose Free Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Scoop Whey Protein Isolate
  • 3tbsp Natural Peanut Butter
  • 30g Organic Hemp Hearts
  • 1/2 – 1 cup Fresh Berries

Lunch

I don’t really have lunch but I guess you could say some extra lean beef with vegetables and roasted potatoes!!

Dinner

Same idea as lunch, slow cooker buffalo chicken breast, roasted brussel sprouts and basmati rice!

Snack

Peanut Butter right out of the jar 🙂
