Meet Kaitlyn

Hello! My name is Kaitlyn, I am 24 years old & have been an athlete for the majority of my life. I grew up in Sherwood park, Alberta where I flourished in many school sports including volleyball, basketball & track. Volleyball became my number one sport, and the one that I pursued over the others. I played on a club team where we ended up participating in nationals a couple times.

As soon as I graduated in 2012, I decided to take a personal training course where I earned my PT certification. Ever since then, I have been learning and growing to better educate myself within the industry. I now have 11 different certifications including Darby Power Lifting, TRX Suspension Training & Precision Nutrition!

In 2014, I made the move to Airdrie, Alberta where I could be closer to the mountains. Here I have found some amazing friendships through the gym along with my boyfriend, Ben.

Through my love of the gym, I found myself starting prep for my very first Bikini Competition. I am proud to say that I placed first in my line up out of 16 beautiful women at the ABBA Southerns in June 2017. I am now qualified through the CPA Federation Pro Qualifier shows where I look forward to competing in 2019.

I love to go on the stairmaster or through a good circuit!

Place to visit or travel

I love to visit the mountains whether it’s hiking, soaking in the hot springs or just a weekend away.

Extra Motivation

My extra motivation is when I take a step back & look at where I used to be now compared to now.


My favorite supplements are from Cellucor & Scivation. I am proudly representing their products. The products I don’t go a day without are Xtend BCAAs (pineapple) & the Cellucor NO3 pump formula!

Protein Waffles

40g ground oats
1/2 cup egg whites OR 1 scoop of Cellucor Whey
1 egg
1 pinch of baking soda
Splash of almond milk
1 tbsp of psyllium husk for fluffiness
Mix & pour into waffle maker
Walden Farms syrup to top off!


Avocado toast & protein shake


Rice cakes with peanut butter & honey (maybe some mini chocolate chips).


I keep things very simple with my meals – rice, asparagus & chicken.


Extra lean ground beef, mashed sweet potato, 1/4 cup salsa & green beans.
