Mocha Iced Coffee Protein Shake

If you’re anything like us then getting your daily dose of caffeine is a must. But despite how tempting those iced caps and frozen lattes might be during the summer months, they’re not quite conducive to the abs we’ve been working on all year.

To help you avoid all that extra sugar and empty calories we went to our experts and asked them for their go-to mocha iced coffee recipe – the perfect fix when you’re craving a little iced caffeine treat. With a little help from our new go-to, cold brew, and your favourite chocolate protein powder, we’ve got a protein-packed, low sugar alternative that will certainly not dissapoint.


 

Mocha Iced Coffee Protein Shake

  • 1 cup cold brew coffee, or iced coffee
  • ½ cup vanilla greek yogurt (or plain greek yogurt + a splash of real vanilla extract, or extra scoop of vanilla protein powder)
  • 1-2 scoops chocolate protein powder 
  • Stevia or natural sweetener, to taste (if needed)
  • Handful of ice cubes

Place all ingredients in a blender, and blend on high until well combined and iced is crushed

Serve and enjoy
